About the event

Pittsburgh University school of law is producing a Cannabis Law Symposium: Policy, Economics, Social Advocacy. The symposium will being together prominent scholars, practicing attorneys, and industry policy makers for a comprehensive discussion of the current medical cannabis program and H.B. 50 that seeks to allow adult use of cannabis in Pennsylvania. The panel will also cover national issues like banking, social equity, and advocacy.

Local and national sponsors have come together to provide this event free to the public. The Pitt Law Innovative Practice Institute and other student organizations have produced this event for the enrichment of the academic and general Pittsburgh community. The National Cannabis Bar Association has played a large role in support practicing cannabis attorneys and sponsoring events like this for the law community.
